Jacob is a local musician with experience in guitar, bass, and vocal performance, in addition to formal training in piano and songwriting. He is familiar with a wide variety of genres from hard rock and alternative to shoegaze and musical theater and is always looking for ways to broaden his horizons. He’s had a passion for performing his entire life, channeling it into choir, theater, and performing with several local bands throughout his career including Honey and the Hivemind and Sorry in Advance.
Jacob is completing his degree at the University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Music and is excited to share his knowledge and passion for music.

Matt Kniffin is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music teacher who studied at Berklee College of Music and has spent years helping students of all ages find their footing on their instrument. He teaches piano, guitar, bass, and drums, shaping each lesson around what the student actually wants to play and where they want to go.

Jack is a drummer with 14 years of experience performing live, recording in the studio, and collaborating across a wide variety of musical settings. He began drumming at age 10 through a School of Rock before expanding into jazz studies, street performance, and eventually Denver’s music scene after moving from St. Louis.

Bella is a Denver-based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, composer, audio engineer, and producer currently studying at the Lamont School of Music, where she majors in Audio Engineering and minors in Studio Art. With experience in piano, bass, and voice, she brings a well-rounded and creative approach to music education that encourages both technical growth and artistic expression.

Joia Hansen, colloquially known as Spru Digz, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, DJ, vocalist, and audio engineer. Playing piano from age 9 and collecting music since 13, Joia's musical journey has seen many twists and turns over the years. Starting with Fruity Loops in 2011 and working his way through Logic Pro, Serato Studio and now Ableton Live, he has finished and released hundreds of beats and dozens of songs. With a formal education in digital production, mixing, and a background in jazz theory, Joia's eye is currently set on developing a style of music that seamlessly integrates gritty funk 'n soul with alternative rhythms and neo-electronic soundscapes. His top priority as a teacher is to help his students find their authentic sound, and to spark a flame of passion that will stay lit for years to come!

Yugs is a Denver based indie alternative artist, producer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist with nearly a decade of experience making and teaching music. He has headlined the Hi-Dive, Skylark Lounge, and Lost Lake, and recently completed LAAMP (Los Angeles Academy for Artists & Music Production), where he studied under production duo Stargate (known for their work with Rihanna and Beyoncé) and worked alongside songwriters across indie rock, pop, R&B, Latin, hip-hop, and folk.

Casey, who also performs under the artist name Thunderthief, is a DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for blending electronic production with live performance. He coined and cultivated the “alt-house” subgenre, melding sultry synths, emotive guitar licks, and bountiful bass with melodic house undertones to create rich tapestries of sound. Deemed the “Best DJ-producer in Class” by Vertex Music Festival, he has garnered critical acclaim across the live-events sphere for his double-deck bass-guitar live performances and DJ sets.
